7G BÜMIN

RECORD PRODUCER | COMPOSER | PERFORMER

The prolific creative Oladele Kiambu, also known as 7G Bümin, takes his artistry and skills to great heights with global intent. Born and based in Baltimore, MD., he grew up immersed in arts, culture, and Pan-African values. At the age of 11, he began producing music using FL Studio, drawing inspiration from acts such as Metro Boomin, Fela Kuti, and Wondagurl. His production blends Afrobeats, hip hop, house, and R&B into a sound that’s both innovative and grounded.

In 2019, 7G Bümin makes his music industry debut with his production for Jidenna’s record Sou Sou, a single from his 85 to Africa album. Since then, he has collaborated with a multitude of artists including Mumu Fresh and D Smoke. 7G would begin building his discography with his own music, including instrumental projects Before Eminence and FREE BÜMIN, stamping his ever-evolving afrocentric sound. In 2025, 7G expands to screen composition, contributing music to Cartoon Network's and Lion Forge's animated series Iyanu, as well as its connecting films.

7G vitalizes his creative vision with audio engineering, working alongside longtime creative partner and mentor Kariz Marcel at Blakwater Studios. In front of the scene, 7G pushes his live performances with DJing and stilt-walking, in which he nurtures that stage presence in his event series AFROBÜMIN. Whether on stage or behind the boards, his work remains rooted in cultural storytelling, self-liberation, and futurist expression.
